Job summary

EAPC in the United States seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design, detailing, and calculations for new and renovated buildings. You will coordinate with architects, MEP, and civil teams and supervise CAD/Revit technicians.

The role requires PE licensure, 8+ years of experience in steel, concrete, masonry, and wood, and strong written and verbal communication. We offer competitive compensation and benefits in a collaborative, design-forward firm.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering required.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• Minimum 8 years of structural design experience.
• Experience with steel, concrete, masonry and wood.
• Ability to mentor EITs and sign/stamp work.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural design, detailing, and calculations for new, additions, and renovations.
• Coordinate designs with architecture, MEP, civil disciplines.
• Edit and write structural specifications.
• Perform investigations, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.
• Mentor EIT-level staff.
• Direct CAD/Revit staff to complete drawings.
• Perform construction administration and site visits.
• Assist in budget and schedule development and proposals.
• Support project managers and department manager on scope and fees.
