Job summary

EAPC is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and detailing for new and renovated buildings. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines and mentor EIT staff to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Join a team of professionals delivering design excellence and engaging in challenging projects. Proficiency with RAM, RISA, Enercalc, and MS Office is preferred; PE license is required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• Minimum 8 years of structural design and detailing experience.
• Knowledge of codes for structural design of buildings and structures.
• Experience mentoring/training structural EITs.
• Ability to sign and stamp own work and review others.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural design, detailing, and calculations for new and renovated buildings.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, civil disciplines.
• Edit and write structural specifications.
• Perform feasibility studies and cost estimates.
