Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license (PE/PEng) or SE license considered.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Proficiency with US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).
• Proficiency with Navisworks and Bluebeam for design/documentation.
• Experience designing/analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform conventional structural engineering analysis and design.
• Plan and conduct work with independent evaluation and adaptation of engineering techniques.
• Apply engineering judgment to wind and seismic design per codes.
• Understand how structural design integrates with other disciplines.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Advance workflows and tools within the structural discipline.
