Job summary

HKA Enterprises is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional (P.E.) to join our design team. You will perform structural analysis and design for steel and concrete, collaborating with leads and designers to develop concepts and finalize documents.

Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering with a structural focus, a PE license, and at least four years of experience under US codes (IBC, ASCE7, ACI, AISC).

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• PE licensure required.
• Minimum 4 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures per US codes.
• Proficiency with Navisworks and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Perform conventional structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures.
• Apply US building codes including wind and seismic provisions.
• Maintain accuracy through calculation checks and peer reviews.
• Manage workload, budget, and schedule; escalate scope changes as needed.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and junior engineers.
