Job summary
VeeRteq Solutions Inc. in the Washington DC metro area is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 10–15 years of experience to lead design teams on commercial, institutional, federal projects. The role involves hands-on analysis and coordination with architects, owners, and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements include a B.S. in civil engineering, PE or SE registration, and proficiency with RISA, AutoCAD, Revit, RAMSS, ETABS, Enercalc.
Qualifications
- 10–15 years of structural engineering experience.
- Experience designing steel, concrete, masonry for new and existing construction.
- PE or SE registration.
- Experience with structural software: RISA, AutoCAD, Revit, RAMSS, ETABS, Enercalc.
- Ability to lead design teams, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop proposals with the business development team and discipline leaders.
- Mentor a team of engineering professionals within a collaborative office.
- Provide consulting services and direct client interaction.
- Lead design of steel, concrete, and masonry for commercial/institutional/federal/industrial projects.
