Job summary

LVI Associates is partnering with a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy to identify a Senior Structural Engineer for their Fulton, MD office. This role leads delivery of complex projects and mentors a growing team, blending local office culture with the resources and technical depth of a nationally recognized firm.

The position requires 10+ years of experience, a PE/SE license, and strong design in steel, concrete, and masonry, with hands-on client interaction and BD support in the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• PE or SE license required.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Strong design experience in steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry structures.
• Experience with structural software such as RISA, RAM Structural System, ETABS, Enercalc, AutoCAD, Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis, design, and detailing for a wide range of building projects.
• Design steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and existing building structures.
• Manage project teams, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Prepare technical proposals and support business development initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout project lifecycles.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.
• Drive quality control and technical excellence across project teams.
