Job summary

CyberCoders seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for building and infrastructure projects in Washington. You will hold PE and SE credentials and coordinate with architects, contractors, and permitting agencies from concept through construction.

Responsibilities include drafting calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents, performing load analyses, and reviewing shop drawings while mentoring junior engineers and managing schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

PE license and SE registration required.
ABET-accredited civil/structural engineering degree.
5+ years of progressive structural engineering experience with design delivery.
Proficient in structural analysis and load calculations.
Experience with seismic/wind design and design of concrete/steel/wood/masonry systems.
Experience with construction documents, specs, permit packages, and QA/QC.

Responsibilities

Lead structural design and analysis for buildings and foundations.
Produce calculations, drawings, specs, and construction documents.
Perform load calculations and assess seismic/wind design requirements.
Develop structural models using STAAD.Pro/ETABS/SAP2000/RISA and perform analyses.
Design RC, steel, timber, masonry, precast, and pile foundations; detail reinforcement.
Coordinate shop drawings, specifications, and permit submittals.
Provide construction administration support including site inspections and RFIs.
Mentor junior engineers and manage project teams and schedules.
