Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing team, working on Data Center projects across the United States. You will perform diverse structural analyses, develop models, and collaborate with global teams to deliver efficient, safe, and scalable structures.

The role offers a hybrid work model with travel 10–20% to client sites and opportunities to grow technically and lead teams across projects. A BS in Civil/Structural Eng is required; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Master of Science in Engineering preferred for advanced roles.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to become registered in additional states.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation, S3D).
• Proficient with structural analysis software (RISA, STAAD).
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and related design codes.
• Proficient in MS Office; MS Teams for remote coordination.
• Willingness to travel 10%–20% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analyses and checks on projects.
• Create computer models for structural systems and foundations.
• Perform member design calculations, material take-offs, and assist with scheduling tasks.
