Job summary

Jacobs is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer for the Advanced Manufacturing team, focusing on Data Centers and related projects. You will perform diverse structural analyses, develop models, and coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.

The role offers growth opportunities, travel to client sites (10%–20%), and a flexible hybrid work model across locations in the United States. Mastery in engineering and leadership will be valued as you drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D).
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge of Building Codes and industry standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE 7).
• Proficiency with MS Office suite including MS Teams for remote coordination.
• Ability to travel 10%–20% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural engineering analyses and calculations.
• Create computer models for structures and foundations.
• Assist with material take-offs, scheduling, and related calculations.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
• Lead teams to deliver projects on schedule and on budget.
