Jacobs is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer within our Advanced Manufacturing team. You will work on data center projects, performing analyses, developing models, and coordinating with domestic and international teams to deliver design solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE), able to register in additional states.
• CAD software proficiency: AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D.
• Structural analysis software: RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge of Building Codes and industry standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE 7...).
• MS Office, including MS Teams for remote coordination.
• Ability to travel to client sites (≈10–20%).

Responsibilities

• Perform various structural engineering analyses.
• Create computer models for structures.
• Prepare member designs and foundation calculations; assist with schedules.
• Liaise with internal professionals and design departments for project delivery.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
• Grow technically and lead when appropriate.
