PRIME AE Group, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our growing team across Ohio offices, including Akron.

You will contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects, from new construction to renovations, collaborating with architects and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, code-compliant designs. You'll have the opportunity to advance your technical leadership, mentor junior staff, and work on high-impact projects for public and private clients while expanding your expertise in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering required.
3–7 years of structural engineering experience.
EIT/EI certification required; PE/SE licensure preferred.
U.S. Citizenship is required for the projects.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, timber, and other systems for new construction, renovations, and additions.
Prepare calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documents.
Develop structural models and project documentation using Revit and related software.
Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
Support field investigations, condition assessments, and site visits; assist with construction administration.
