Job summary

PRIME AE Group is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the analysis, design, and delivery of structural systems for diverse projects across multiple markets. You will work with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, providing technical leadership from planning through construction administration.

The role emphasizes designing new structures, renovations, and modifications, mentoring junior staff, and guiding complex projects. Occasional travel to local offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of structural engineering experience in a consulting environment.
• Experience leading structural design projects involving steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
• Proficiency with structural analysis/design software such as Revit, RISA, EnerCalc, RAM.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis and design for new construction, renovations, additions, and facility assessments.
• Design, analyze, and specify structural systems (steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, timber).
• Prepare calculations, reports, specs, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with architecture and MEP disciplines; provide QA/QC.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage multiple projects with limited supervision.
