Arup is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Houston/Austin/Dallas region, contributing to a multidisciplinary team on diverse building projects. The role emphasizes technical leadership, strong communication, and collaboration with engineers, architects, and contractors.

You will design structural systems for a variety of buildings, perform seismic and wind analyses, review drawings, and ensure compliance with codes while coordinating with other disciplines.

Formación

• Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 7+ years of related experience in structural design and engineering.
• PE license required; SE license preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of building code, seismic design, and structural software (ETABS, SAFE, SAP).

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and design structural elements for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry buildings.
• Perform lateral analyses for seismic and wind loading.
• Prepare and review drawings detailing designed systems.
• Complete design calculations for permit submittals.
• Coordinate with other engineers, architects, and contractors.
• Review submittals and conduct site visits to observe construction.
• Communicate designs clearly to clients and stakeholders.
