Arup is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its Structural Engineering team in a growing multidisciplinary group working on notable building projects. This role can sit in Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, or San Diego, with preference for California locations.

You will analyze and design structural systems for varied materials, perform seismic and wind analyses, and collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with fundamentals in building systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
• PE license required; SE license preferred; experience with seismic design software.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and design structural elements and systems for steel, concrete, timber and masonry buildings.
• Perform lateral analyses of structures for seismic and wind loading.
• Prepare and review drawings detailing designed systems for permits.
• Complete design calculations for structural systems for submittals.
• Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines, architects, and contractors.
