Arup’s Los Angeles office is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Structural Engineering team within a growing multidisciplinary group. The role can sit in Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, or San Diego, and involves designing structural systems for diverse building projects while coordinating with engineers, architects, and contractors.

Applicants should have a Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering, 6+ years of related experience, PE license, and knowledge of ETABS/SAFE/SAP.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with strong fundamentals.
• 6+ years of structural design/engineering experience.
• PE license required; SE license preferred.
• Familiar with seismic design software and structural analysis tools.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and design structural elements for buildings in steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
• Perform lateral analysis for seismic and wind loading and prepare drawings.
• Complete design calculations for permit submittals.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, architects, and contractors.
• Review submittals and visit construction sites as needed.
