Job summary

Osborn Engineering is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 10–20 years of experience for our Tampa, Orlando, and/or St. Pete, FL offices.

The role reports to the Manager of Structural Engineering and requires extensive consulting experience with private and public sector clients. The ideal candidate will work on designing structures, coordinating with teams, and delivering drawings and reports across a range of projects including healthcare, commercial, and education facilities.

Qualifications

• 10–20 years of structural design experience in consulting engineering.
• Proficient knowledge of structural analysis and design software (REVIT, RISA 3D, RISA Floor, ADAPT).
• Designing post-tension structures and knowledge of local and national codes.

Responsibilities

• Design of new building structures and alterations to existing buildings.
• Prepare structural integrity and assessment reports.
• Coordinate with architectural, electrical, mechanical teams and clients.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of designs and calculations.
• Lead project teams and manage design delivery timelines.
• Prepare proposals and administer project contracts.
