Job summary

Jacobs is actively seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to work within our Advanced Manufacturing team on data center projects, including new builds, retrofits, and colocations. You will perform diverse structural engineering tasks, create structural models, and coordinate designs with internal teams across Jacobs’ global network.

The role offers hybrid work within the United States, with travel up to 20% to client sites. A P.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer eligible for multi-state registration.
• Proficiency with CAD software: AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation; S3D; structural analysis tools like RISA/STAAD.
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and Building Codes; MS Office and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analysis and design tasks.
• Create computer models for structures and foundations; perform member designs.
• Prepare calculations, schedules, and material take-offs; support project delivery.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
