Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing team in the United States to work on data center projects, including new builds and retrofits. You will perform structural analyses, develop models, and collaborate with internal teams and Jacobs offices globally for delivery.

The role offers growth opportunities, leadership on projects, and a hybrid work policy with travel to client sites as needed. A strong engineering background and PE licensure are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer able to become registered in additional states.
• Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D).
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (RISA or STAAD).
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, Building Codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Teams.
• Ability to travel to client sites (10%–20%).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analysis and create computer models.
• Perform calculations for member designs and foundations, material take-offs for estimating, schedules.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
• Support project delivery and maintain schedules and budgets.
