Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing team across the United States, focusing on data center projects such as new builds, retrofits, and colocations. You will perform diverse structural engineering tasks, create models, and coordinate with global teams.

The role offers opportunities for growth, leadership within the team, and collaboration across Jacobs offices domestically and internationally, with a typical travel of 10%–20%.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering; 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience; Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states; Proficiency with CAD software including AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D; Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD; Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and Building Codes; Proficiency with MS Office (incl. MS Teams) for remote coordination; Ability to travel to client sites (10–20%).
• Master’s degree is a plus; 1–3 years experience with hyperscale data center projects; Ability to lead teams to deliver commitments on schedule and on budget while meeting quality and client expectations.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a variety of structural engineering analyses and create computer models for structures.
• Perform member design calculations and foundations work, material take-offs for estimating, and assist with schedules.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally; liaise with other professionals and design teams.
