Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for our Advanced Manufacturing team, focusing on data center projects including new builds, retrofits, and colocations. Based anywhere in the United States, you will perform structural analyses, develop computer models, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver safe, efficient designs.

You’ll collaborate with global Jacobs offices, grow technically, and take on increased leadership responsibilities as you progress.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states.
• Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge and application of Building Codes and industry standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite including MS Teams for remote coordination.
• Ability for travel to various client’s sites (10–20% travel).

Responsabilidades

• Performing a variety of analysis.
• Creating computer models for structures.
• Performing calculations for member designs and foundations, material take-offs for estimating, preparation of schedules.
• Liaise with internal professionals and design departments for project delivery.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices both domestically and internationally.
