Jacobs, a global leader in engineering, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for its Advanced Manufacturing team, focusing on data center projects, new builds, retrofits and colocations. You will perform structural analysis, model structures, and coordinate with internal teams across Jacobs offices.

The role offers a hybrid work policy in the United States, requires 8+ years of experience, a PE license, and travel of about 10–20%.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8 or more years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer with the ability to become registered in additional states.
• Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D).
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (RISA or STAAD).
• Knowledge and application of Building Codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE 7).
• Knowledge and application of Building Codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite including MS Teams for remote coordination.
• Ability for travel to various client’s sites (approx. 10% to 20% travel)

• Creating computer models for structures
• Performing calculations for member designs and foundations, material take-offs for estimating, preparation of miscellaneous calculations, assisting with schedules
• Coordinating designs with Jacobs offices both domestic and international
