Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer within our Advanced Manufacturing team to work on a range of Data Center projects, including new builds and retrofits. You will perform structural analyses, develop models, and coordinate designs with Jacobs offices globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states.
• Knowledge of CAD software: AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge of Building Codes and industry standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE 7).
• Proficiency with MS Office; ability to coordinate remotely.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural engineering analyses and calculations.
• Create computer models for structures and foundations.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
• Travel to client sites as needed (10%–20%).
