Job summary

Jabil Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to take ownership of structural design for data center infrastructure, including frames, enclosures, skids and anchorage systems. The role requires a US-licensed PE and deep experience with heavy electrical/mechanical equipment.

You will collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and PLM teams to manage risk and ensure compliance. Responsibilities include leading seismic qualification, validating CAD drawings, and supporting regulatory

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited).
Active PE license in the United States.
10+ years in structural engineering for industrial or infrastructure equipment, 3+ years in data center design.
Experience performing and certifying structural analyses for heavy equipment assemblies.
Ability to independently own structural decisions and provide stamped deliverables if required.

Responsibilities

Own structural design and analysis for data center power and cooling systems (frames, enclosures, skids).
Perform and review static, dynamic, seismic, transport, wind, and live-load calculations.
Ensure designs meet codes and jurisdictional requirements for global deployment.
Convey structural intent in CAD models and released documentation.
