Job summary
Jabil is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to own structural design and analysis for data center power and cooling frames, enclosures, skids, and mounting structures. You will lead seismic qualification, assess floor loads, and ensure alignment between analytical assumptions and CAD implementations.
The role requires a US-licensed PE, 10+ years in industrial/infra structural engineering, and proven capability to stamp deliverables.
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited degree required in civil/structural/mechanical engineering.
- Active US PE license required and 10+ years in structural engineering for industrial equipment.
- Experience certifying structural analyses for heavy equipment assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Own structural design and analysis for data center power/cooling frames, enclosures, skids and mounting structures.
- Lead seismic qualification efforts and evaluate floor loading limits.
- Ensure CAD drawings clearly communicate load paths and installation requirements.
- Review manufacturing drawings for correct load paths, interfaces and installation details.
- Support regulatory, AHJ and customer structural signoffs and approvals.
- Collaborate across manufacturing, quality and supply chain to mitigate structural risks.
