Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil/structural/mechanical degree is required.
• Active US PE license required.
• 10+ years in structural engineering for heavy industrial or infrastructure equipment.
• Experience certifying structures and providing stamped deliverables if needed.
• Ability to own structural decisions and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own structural design and analysis for data center power infrastructure frames, enclosures, and mounting structures.
• Perform seismic qualification and load analyses; ensure compliance with ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318.
• Capture design intent in CAD models and release documentation with clear load paths.
• Support regulatory, AHJ, and customer signoffs for structural aspects.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to mitigate structural risk.
