Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a senior subject matter expert to lead structural engineering across a portfolio of data center projects. You will guide technical direction, mentor teams, and ensure performance and constructability in collaboration with clients and contractors.

You will oversee design delivery, influence strategy, and champion the Design-Build approach while expanding your leadership footprint within a global integrated delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly identify complex challenges, solve problems, communicate solutions and direct junior and senior staff on best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex structural analyses and guide methodologies to ensure robust, code-compliant, constructible design solutions.
• Develop and validate advanced structural computer models, establish modeling standards, and mentor team members in simulation techniques.
• Oversee critical calculations for member design and foundations, direct material take-offs and estimating inputs, and provide technical governance for schedules and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Shape project execution, influence design strategy, and grow delivery excellence within the Design-Build framework.
