Jacobs is seeking a senior subject matter expert in the Data Center team to lead structural engineering efforts on a portfolio of projects, including new builds and retrofits. You will guide technical direction, oversee design and construction coordination, and mentor teams across diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering and professional registration.
• 15+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Ability to travel to client sites (approx. 10–40%).
• Proficiency with CAD software and structural analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex structural analyses and guide selection of methodologies to ensure robust, constructible design solutions.
• Mentor structural leads and coordinate with clients and upper management on project status.
• Shape project execution, influence design strategy, and drive delivery excellence for high‑performance data centers.
• Provide technical governance for schedules, design documentation, and interdisciplinary coordination.
