Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in Greenville, SC seeks a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to perform complete design of complex projects under general supervision. Responsibilities include applying advanced engineering techniques and leading project task teams.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years of industrial civil/structural experience, PE preferred, strong knowledge of IBC and relevant codes, and proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in Civil Engineering required.
• 10+ years of relevant industrial civil/structural experience.
• PE registration is highly preferred.
• Experience with IBC/ASCE/AISC/ACI is essential.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficient CAD and drafting coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead design tasks for complex civil/structural projects.
• Develop conceptual layouts and material take-offs.
• Prepare design calculations and construction drawings.
• Coordinate with drafting and other disciplines.
• Provide field support and site data gathering.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Review vendor drawings and submittals.
