Job summary
IMEG Corporation in Rock Island, IL seeks a Senior Engineer to lead structural design for bridges and related infrastructure. You will guide design teams, perform calculations, prepare drawings and reports, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across site development, transportation, and municipal markets.
You will engage with clients, oversee project budgets and schedules, and stay current with codes and safety regulations to deliver resilient infrastructure
Qualifications
- BS in Civil/Structural Engineering required
- PE license required
- MS in Structural Engineering preferred
- 14+ years in building design consulting
Responsibilities
- Apply civil and structural engineering to large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Support structural design for bridges, detailing, and documentation.
- Develop design criteria, technical reports, construction plans and specifications; perform QA reviews.
- Conduct in-process design reviews to ensure adherence to codes and client expectations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in office and virtual environments.
- Conduct field inspections to verify conformity with design documents.
