Kleinfelder in Illinois is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to join our growing team. You will design and analyze steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures, prepare calculations and reports, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and public agencies.

You bring a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, 15+ years of experience in bridges or buildings, and a strong grasp of design principles. Illinois SE licensure or progress toward licensure is preferred, with exposure to AutoCAD,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience designing bridges and/or buildings.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze steel, concrete, timber, and masonry buildings and bridges.
• Prepare structural calculations, plans, specifications, and reports.
• Perform structural inspections and condition assessments.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and agencies.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure technical excellence.
