Job summary

Kleinfelder's Illinois structural team is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to design and evaluate steel, concrete, timber, and masonry buildings and bridges, contributing to communities we serve.

You will prepare calculations, plans, specs and reports; mentor junior engineers; and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and public agencies to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions. Salary range is $110,000–$150,000 with a comprehensive benefits package; progress and career

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 15+ years or more experience in the design of bridge and/or buildings.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
• Ability to communicate with clients utilizing excellent written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze steel, concrete, timber, and masonry buildings and bridges.
• Prepare structural calculations, plans, specifications, and technical reports.
