Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with at least ten years of experience, eager to grow within our dynamic firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing steel, concrete, and masonry structures for commercial, institutional, federal, and industrial buildings, in both new and existing constructions. Leadership experience in managing and mentoring engineering teams is essential to ensure project success, client satisfaction, and adherence to budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• B.S. in civil engineering
• PE or SE licensure
• Minimum of 10 years' experience
• Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA 3D, Revit, RamSS, Etabs, Enercalc, etc.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing across various projects.
• Coordinate with architects, owners, and contractors to produce high-quality structural drawings.
• Collaborate with designers, drafters, and engineers nationwide to execute designs.
• Participate in project meetings to ensure effective communication.
• Interface with contractors during construction to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Contribute to project pursuits and team planning within the Raleigh office.
• Manage projects profitably and maintain strong client relationships.
