Description
- This position offers the opportunity to apply your knowledge of materials, structural analysis, steel design, and reinforced concrete design within a team working on various oil and gas facilities.
- Responsibilities include creating calculations, designing documents, specifications, and conducting structural analyses considering wind, seismic, blast, and pressurization loads.
- Under the guidance of the Structural Lead, you will mentor junior engineers and coordinate detailed design phases of structural engineering projects.
- You will tackle challenging tasks, including troubleshooting and resolving diverse structural issues.
- Develop integrated structural designs, perform calculations, and prepare technical specifications for materials.
- Review work done by others, including calculations and drawings, and coordinate with project teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Assess existing facilities for upgrades, present findings, and may travel for site visits and design reviews.
This role requires a hybrid work schedule, with in-office presence 3 days per week.Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) from an ABET-accredited program.
- 5+ years of experience in oil and gas facility design, focusing on steel structures and concrete supports.
- PE License required.
- Experience in writing structural engineering calculations and supporting documentation.
- Practical knowledge of structural analysis, support design, and load considerations.
- Proficiency with MathCad, STAAD PRO, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS.
- Familiarity with codes like IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI 318.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Based in Englewood, CO, with occasional travel required.
Valued but not required:
- Construction and start-up experience.

Compensation Range
$78,400 - $119,850
