Responsibilities

1. This position allows you to apply your knowledge of materials, structural analysis, steel design, and reinforced concrete design on various oil and gas facilities.
2. Responsibilities include creating calculations, designing documents, and specifications, as well as conducting structural analyses for wind, seismic, blast, and pressurization loads.
3. Guide junior engineers and designers, coordinate detailed design phases, and resolve diverse structural engineering issues.
4. Develop structural designs, perform calculations, prepare technical specifications, and review work by others.
5. Coordinate with project teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure timely and complete design delivery.
6. Review existing facilities for upgrades and present findings to clients.
7. Potential travel for design reviews and site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred), ABET-accredited.
• 5+ years in oil and gas structural design, including steel and concrete supports.
• PE License required.
• Experience with structural calculations and software like STAAD PRO, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS.
• Knowledge of codes such as IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI 318.
• Based in Englewood, CO, with occasional travel.
