Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design and coordination of complex building projects across various sectors. This role is fully remote but requires periodic travel to Indianapolis, IN for client meetings and site inspections. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, high accuracy, and can manage project deliverables and junior engineers.

Job Duties:

1. Lead design efforts for new construction and renovation projects from concept to completion
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support project managers during the design process
3. Provide guidance to junior engineers on your projects
4. Attend client and design review meetings as needed
5. Perform site inspections and support construction administration activities
6. Coordinate detailed engineering work ensuring technical accuracy
7. Edit and review project specifications
8. Manage multiple assignments while maintaining high-quality standards
9. Engage in ongoing professional development and training

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required
• 10+ years of experience in structural design
• Proficient in Revit
• Experience with cast-in-place/precast concrete, steel framing, and wood structures
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience with healthcare-related projects is a plus
