Job summary

Pursuit in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to contribute to precast concrete boardwalks and related structures used across North America. You will serve as a technical SME on structural and bridge engineering, guiding designs from concept through construction.

The role emphasizes hands-on analysis, concrete and bridge design, and collaboration with sales and leadership to manage schedules while ensuring quality and constructability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of structural engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Strong structural design and analysis experience
• Experience with concrete design or bridge design
• Knowledge of applicable structural/building codes
• PE license preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical subject-matter expert on structural and bridge engineering
• Perform and oversee structural analysis and design
• Design foundations, precast concrete components, railings, retaining walls, and connections
• Work closely with Sales and Engineering leadership to manage project schedules and priorities
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, accuracy, and constructability standards
