Job summary

Pursuit in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to contribute to precast concrete boardwalks and related structures used across North America. You will serve as a technical SME on structural and bridge engineering, guiding designs from concept through construction.

The role emphasizes hands-on analysis, concrete and bridge design, and collaboration with sales and leadership to manage schedules while ensuring quality and constructability.

Qualifications

4+ years of structural engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Experience with AutoCAD
Strong structural design and analysis experience
Experience with concrete design or bridge design
Knowledge of applicable structural/building codes
PE license preferred

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical subject-matter expert on structural and bridge engineering
Perform and oversee structural analysis and design
Design foundations, precast concrete components, railings, retaining walls, and connections
Work closely with Sales and Engineering leadership to manage project schedules and priorities
Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, accuracy, and constructability standards
