Job summary

LVI Associates is partnering with a growing structural engineering consultancy to recruit a Structural Engineer seeking project leadership, or an experienced Project Manager seeking greater autonomy. The role spans proposal to construction with multi-office exposure in the Southeast.

You will manage multiple projects, mentor staff, and work directly with decision-makers to drive growth and ensure client satisfaction across a diverse portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of structural engineering with project management responsibilities.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural engineering projects from proposal through construction.
• Serve as primary client liaison with architects, contractors and consultants.
• Oversee schedules, budgets and resource allocation.
• Lead and mentor engineers and technical staff.
• Review calculations, drawings and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate internal teams to deliver on time and within budget.
• Support business development and strengthen client relationships.
• Collaborate with leadership on project strategy and growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage structural engineering projects from proposal through construction.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and consultants.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience with project management responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of building structure design and project delivery.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Leadership mindset with a desire to mentor and develop others.
