Job summary

Pursuit in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a leading engineering and manufacturing company specializing in precast concrete boardwalk and structural systems. This role supports projects used by communities across North America, with responsibilities spanning concrete and bridge design, analysis, and detailing.

You will collaborate with sales and leadership, oversee structural analysis and design, and ensure quality and constructability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with concrete design or bridge design.
• Knowledge of applicable structural/building codes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical subject-matter expert on structural and bridge engineering.
• Perform and oversee structural analysis and design.
• Design foundations, precast concrete components, railings, retaining walls, and connections.
• Work closely with Sales and Engineering leadership to manage project schedules and priorities.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, accuracy, and constructability standards.

What They’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of structural engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Strong structural design and analysis experience
• Experience with concrete design or bridge design
• Knowledge of applicable structural/building codes
• PE license preferred
