Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited college or university.
Six or more years of related experience.
P.E. license in good standing is desired but not required.
Experience with 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Advance Steel) and design software such as RISA-3D is preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for structural design, design criteria and code compliance for entire structural systems or projects.
Develop and communicate structural details and connections for project drawings and specs.
Prepare 2D and 3D drawings in CAD software; perform material take-offs and BOMs.
Review vendor documents for structural components; mentor junior engineers.
