TAKRAF India Private Limited seeks a structural engineer to perform analysis and design for mining equipment structures in Denver, CO. You will size beams, develop layouts, and prepare 2D/3D CAD drawings and BOMs.

The role requires a PE/SE license or active path toward licensure, strong knowledge of AISC design, and experience with AutoCAD, Advance Steel, SolidWorks, and RISA-3D. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4+ years of related experience are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and four or more years related experience and PE/SE license.
Master’s Degree preferred but not required.
Knowledge of mining and/or bulk material handling industries.
Familiar with AISC Steel Design and building codes.
Experience with 2D/3D CAD drawings and material take-offs.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates technical expertise in structural engineering.
Meets task or project time and budget goals.
Performs a focused portion of a broader assignment under supervision.
Develops initial structural layouts and beam sizing.
Assists with material take-offs for proposals.
Communicates member sizes, connections, and welds for project drawings.
Understands material specs and relevant steel/building codes.
Develops and communicates structural connections and framing solutions.
Performs structural analysis of structures such as steel supports for conveyors, crushers, tanks, and foundations; prepares design criteria.
Prepares 2D/3D CAD drawings and bill of material lists.
Reviews vendor documents for structural components.
