Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead engineering design and analysis of large bulk material handling equipment for mining applications. The role requires hands-on experience with conveyors, crushers, tanks, and supporting structures.

On-site, full-time work at the Denver facility is required. The candidate will prepare drawings, perform member sizing and weld details, and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited University, with 5+ years' experience in design and analysis of bulk material handling equipment.
• Experience with member sizing, connections, welds, and preparation of project drawings and specifications.
• Strong background in steel specifications, load calculations, 2D/3D drawings, BOMs, and vendor document reviews; PE/SE or in-process status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Involved in the engineering design and structural analysis of conveyors, crushers, screens, tanks, pipes, foundations, platforms, beams, supports for mining equipment.
• Must be able to develop and communicate structural details of connections and alternative framing solutions.
• Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
