Job summary

LVI Associates in Colorado is seeking an experienced Structural Department Manager to lead its structural engineering practice. You will oversee technical quality, budgets, and client development while mentoring engineers and project managers on a diverse portfolio of projects.

As a senior leader, you will act as Structural Engineer of Record on select assignments, drive strategic growth, and help shape the direction of a growing firm known for technical excellence and client-focused solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• SE license preferred.
• 14+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management and leadership experience.
• Proven track record managing complex building projects.
• Strong client management and business development skills.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, engineers, and staff.
• Oversee departmental budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation.
• Drive project profitability and department financial performance.
• Support business development and maintain client relationships.
• Serve as Structural Engineer of Record on a variety of projects.
• Ensure quality, budget, and schedule adherence.
