Kennedy Jenks is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer with a structural focus to lead design and consulting for water and wastewater infrastructure across the United States. You’ll ensure life safety, constructability, and long-term performance while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll work in a hybrid model, contributing from planning through construction, with exposure to pumps, tanks, treatment buildings, and seismic considerations. WA PE is required; SE preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus (ABET accredited).
• 8+ years of consulting engineering experience focused on structural design.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required in Washington; Structural Engineer (SE) preferred in Washington.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D/BIM modeling; experience with Revit, RISA 3D, Enercalc, RAM Elements, RAM Structural Systems, or STAAD preferred.
• Experience supporting structural engineering for industrial or municipal infrastructure projects strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and consulting services for water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the United States.
• Produce structural calculations, drawings, and specifications for clear, coordinated project delivery.
• Design and evaluate treatment plant buildings, tanks, clarifiers, and pump stations for seismic regions.
• Provide engineering input during construction, including field structural observation and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and construction professionals to solve technical challenges for municipal and industrial facilities.
• Apply BIM and analysis tools to support coordination and project visualization from planning through construction.
