Job summary
Stantec in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a Structural CAD Manager to lead the CAD team in delivering bridge and transportation structure drawings using MicroStation and related tools. You will manage templates, QA/QC, and staff allocations while coordinating with other disciplines to ensure on‑time, high‑quality deliverables.
You will mentor CAD staff, drive design standards, and support continuous improvement of modeling practices in a fast‑paced project environment.
Qualifications
- Engineering Design and Drafting Diploma or similar.
- Minimum of 10 years of civil/structural drafting of bridges and transportation structures.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Proficiency in MicroStation and ProjectWise; AutoCAD and Revit.
Responsibilities
- Lead CAD team and manage templates, standards and QA/QC.
- Create and edit design drawings using MicroStation.
- Coordinate with disciplines and consultants.
- Oversee CAD modelling and staff allocations.
- Maintain CAD standards library.
- Provide mentoring and training to CAD staff.
- Ensure compliance with client design standards.
