Job summary

Stantec in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a Structural CAD Manager to lead the CAD team in delivering bridge and transportation structure drawings using MicroStation and related tools. You will manage templates, QA/QC, and staff allocations while coordinating with other disciplines to ensure on‑time, high‑quality deliverables.

You will mentor CAD staff, drive design standards, and support continuous improvement of modeling practices in a fast‑paced project environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering Design and Drafting Diploma or similar.
• Minimum of 10 years of civil/structural drafting of bridges and transportation structures.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Proficiency in MicroStation and ProjectWise; AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAD team and manage templates, standards and QA/QC.
• Create and edit design drawings using MicroStation.
• Coordinate with disciplines and consultants.
• Oversee CAD modelling and staff allocations.
• Maintain CAD standards library.
• Provide mentoring and training to CAD staff.
• Ensure compliance with client design standards.
