Job summary

Artheon is a New Jersey-based multidisciplinary consulting firm delivering transportation infrastructure. We seek a Structural Project Manager to lead bridge projects from planning through construction, mentor the team, and deliver high-quality designs on schedule.

You will work on projects for NJDOT, NJTA and other agencies, coordinating with clients and subconsultants, while applying LRFD methods and standard detailing. Rely on strong leadership and communication to drive success.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering; M.S. preferred.
• Professional Engineer license in New Jersey or ability to obtain within six months.
• Twelve+ years of progressive bridge/transportation structural experience.
• Experience managing scope, budgets, schedules, staffing and multiple assignments.
• Strong LRFD knowledge and criteria compliance (AASHTO/NJDOT/NJTA).
• Experience with bridge analysis/design software and related tools.
• Proven mentoring, leadership and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage bridge/transportation structural projects from planning to construction support.
• Lead LRFD-based analysis and design of bridges and related structures.
• Direct and review calculations, load ratings, plans and specs.
• Coordinate meetings with clients and agencies; oversee multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead condition evaluations and rehabilitation/replacement recommendations.
• Establish QA/QC procedures and maintain templates and guidance.
• Mentor engineers and support business development with proposals.
