Job summary

Artheon in Berlin, NJ seeks an experienced Structural Project Manager to lead bridge projects from planning through construction support. You will oversee scope, budget, schedule, staffing, and deliverables, while guiding LRFD design for steel and concrete bridges and related structures.

The role requires strong leadership, NJ PE status, and 12+ years' experience, with field coordination and client interaction across NJ agencies. Competitive compensation is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering required; MS preferred.
• NJ PE license or ability to obtain within six months.
• 12+ years of bridge/transportation structural engineering experience.
• Experience managing scope, budgets, schedules and teams.
• Strong LRFD knowledge with AASHTO/NJ standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage bridge projects from planning through construction support.
• Lead LRFD-based analysis and design of bridges and related structures.
• Direct structural calculations, load ratings, plans, and specs.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee staffing & workload.
• Support proposals, scope development and fee estimates.
• Site visits, RFIs, and constructability issue resolution.
