Job summary

Artheon is a New Jersey, multidisciplinary consulting firm delivering transportation infrastructure for public and private sector clients throughout the region.

Our structural engineering group supports bridge projects with various level of complexity ranging from bridge replacements, widenings, and rehabilitations to supporting ancillary structures such as retaining walls, sign structures, and drainage structures.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer license in New Jersey or ability to obtain within six months.
• Twelve or more years of bridge/transportation structural engineering experience.
• Proven ability to manage scope, budgets, schedules and teams.
• Experience delivering transportation projects per AASHTO, NJDOT, NJTA criteria.
• Experience with bridge analysis and load-rating software.

Responsibilities

• Manage bridge and transportation projects from planning through construction.
• Lead LRFD-based analysis and design of bridges and related structures.
• Direct structural calculations, load ratings, and specifications.
• Coordinate meetings with clients and agencies; manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead condition evaluations, rehab/ replacement recommendations, and QA/QC.
