Job summary

Artheon is a New Jersey, multidisciplinary consulting firm delivering transportation infrastructure for public and private sector clients throughout the region.

Our structural engineering group supports bridge projects with various level of complexity ranging from bridge replacements, widenings, and rehabilitations to supporting ancillary structures such as retaining walls, sign structures, and drainage structures.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive bridge/transport structural experience.
• Manage scope, budgets, schedules, staffing and multiple assignments.
• Strong knowledge of LRFD methods per AASHTO/NJ criteria.
• Experience with bridge analysis, design and load-rating software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Manage bridge and transportation projects from planning through construction.
• Lead LRFD-based analysis and design to applicable standards.
• Direct structural calculations, load ratings, plans, specs, and estimates.
• Coordinate with clients and review agencies; lead meetings.
• Oversee QA/QC and maintain templates and guidance.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development.
