Job summary

Kbraengineering in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a Structural Drafter/BIM Modeler to build structural BIM models and drawings (plans, elevations, sections) from design information. Analyze existing conditions with field investigations and coordinate across disciplines to ensure cohesive construction documents.

You will maintain revisions, follow internal standards, and contribute to project delivery with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or BIM certification required.
• 3+ years of experience in developing construction documents.
• Strong knowledge of design/drafting standards to ensure BIM model adherence.
• Experience drawing/modeling structural systems: concrete, steel, masonry.
• Understanding of IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE7, NDS preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit and related BIM software.
• Team player with good communication and organization.
• Willingness to travel and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Produce structural BIM models and drawings (plans, sections, details).
• Perform field investigations to document existing conditions.
• Coordinate with clients and other disciplines for coordinated designs.
• Organize and maintain revisions of drawings and project information.
